Facials at Aura are hands-on rather than machine-led, using Bee Good skincare. Products are chosen for your skin on the day rather than following a fixed routine, and the luxury facials include hot stones unless they are not suitable for you. Bee Good skincare products are available to purchase.

Red light therapy can be booked on its own as a quick pre-event boost or built into the full hour. It is a comfortable LED treatment with no downtime, which makes it an easy first facial if you have never had one.

Good for

  • Dull, tired or dehydrated skin
  • A visible lift before an event, with no downtime
  • Redness, irritation and puffiness
  • Jaw and brow tension — the facial massage does real work

What to expect

How the visit goes

Skin consultation

Steph looks at your skin and asks what you use at home before choosing products. Bring the names of anything active — retinol, acids, prescription creams — as it changes what is suitable.

During the facial

You lie covered and warm. Expect a proper facial, neck and décolletage massage rather than a quick pass. Luxury facials include hot stones unless contraindicated.

What red light does

With regular sessions it improves firmness, increases circulation for better tone, reduces redness and puffiness, and supports cell repair. Skin usually looks brighter and smoother after a single session.

Afterwards

Skin can look slightly flushed for a short while, which settles. Avoid heavy make-up for the rest of the day and keep sun exposure sensible.
